Fleet renewals may be processed by mail or by drop-off. For optimal efficiency in processing fleet work, review renewal notices for deletions and registration cancellations. Fleet Vehicle Renewals
Companies with fleets of 100 or more vehicles in Georgia can now register as fleets. Fleet registration must be completed online using Georgia DRIVES e-Services. Check for requirements HERE and register by choosing Fleet Registration under All Services. Vehicles registered under a fleet may ONLY renew directly through the state, and cannot be renewed county level. Replacement fleet vehicle registrations may be done at the county level by mail or by visiting our office.
Vehicles NOT registered under a fleet but have Fleet Insurance
MUST include a copy of the active fleet insurance card when renewing either in person or by mail.
When all renewal notices are ready to process with the county tag office, please submit the following:
- A copy of fleet insurance card, if applicable
- A CURRENT Form 2290 for each vehicle with a GVWR of 55,000 lbs. or more, stamped or E-Filed by the IRS.
- Payment: check or credit card (a 2.19% bank fee will be added to credit and debit card transactions). Please make checks payable to Hall County Tax Commissioner.
- Multiple titles & registrations (3+) may be taken as a drop off
